It has been a hectic start in great conditions with so many games being played in the opening weeks of our 2021 CSSL season.

All competitive leagues are well up and running in addition to Boys U10, U11, U12 & Girls U12 Girls non-competitive games. There have also been many other blitzes for U8-U10 Boys and Girls which have been organised by the clubs and we appreciate the efforts being made by the clubs in organising these blitzes. In the coming week there will be a more organised structure put in place for these blitzes and the league will be in touch with clubs to share these details.

As was communicated earlier in the year all competitive leagues with 5 or less teams will play a full calendar of home and away fixtures in that division. Boys U14 Division 1 & 3, Boys U16 Division 1, 2 & 3, Girls U13 Division 1 & 2 will all have a full calendar of fixtures, meaning 2 rounds of games with teams playing each other home and away.

However if the division has 6 or more teams the round 2 games will adopt a different structure. The top half teams will play each other one more time and the bottom half will play each other one more time. These are fixtures in the same division and points from round 1 games still count.

For example if there are 6 teams in your division round one will consist of 5 games against each of the other 5 teams in your division. Round 2 will provide 2 further games with the top 3 teams & bottom 3 teams playing each another one more time.

Boys U13 Division 1, 2, & 3, Boys U14 Division 2, Boys U15 Division 1 & 2, Girls U15 Division 1 will follow this format.
