Clare's U14 boys are first up this weekend when they face Galway in Maguires Field Astroturf, UL at 11.30 on Saturday 11th Dec. They can match Clare's highest ever Kennedy Cup finish (achieved in 2000 - when it was an U13 competition) with a win over Galway to take home the Kennedy Bowl. Galway pipped this Clare side to the All Ireland Plate at U13 level and although they have lost a number of that team to a highly successful Galway United U14 League of Ireland winning squad, their replacements have been just as impressive in the run up to the final.

Manager Davy Wall together with coaches Paul Roche and Fabio Messori, and strength and conditioning coach TJ O'Dwyer are hoping that the great work the squad have put in over the last few years will come to fruition with a win on Sunday.

PATHS TO THE FINAL:

Clare's only loss so far has been to a strong Cork side who having beaten Clare to first place in the group are fancied to win the Kennedy Cup Final on Sunday.

Similarly, Galway lost by the odd goal in 5 in their first match versus Midlands who topped that group and have been unbeaten since despite having to travel to Mayo and Donegal before beating Kerry in Eamonn Deacy Park in Galway in the Semi Final.
