Clare's U14 girls had a tough first game losing out 2-0 to Mayo having had to deal with a sending off for handball and going one down from the resultant penalty. They fought on well though and were quite unlucky not to draw the game showing great heart.

We have been drawn in a tough group however manager Amy Horgan together with coaches Ciara Duggan, Aisling Kenneally and Hannah Mai Neylon are looking forward to the squad putting in a strong performance this week. Their remaining group matches are

Wednesday 6pm: vs Metropolitan Girls League Northside - Pitch 1

Thursday 12 noon: vs Kilkenny - Pitch 4

Thursday 6pm: vs North East Counties Schoolboys/girls League - Pitch 5

These will determine our fixtures for the following days so still all to play for. Our next match will be tough as MGL North won their first game 3-0 but we are looking forward to the test. Current standings are as follows:
