Clare lost the semi-final of the Gaynor Bowl on penalties and will now play their last game tomorrow at 10am vs Longford. An even game saw half chances for both sides with Rhiann Murphy in goals coming bravely off her line to pull off a one on one save, injuring her knee in the process. Kate Jones nearly pulled a winner out of the bag with a header from a corner towards the end.
When it went to penalties, Aibhlinn Cotter, Kate Jones, Rachel O'Shea and Emily Carmody were on target with Clare's tournament top scorer so far Mylie Treacy unlucky to see her effort saved.
They can look back with pride on a great tournament so far with great memories and and some more to be made tomorrow.
